Question by : Is a enduro a off road on road bike and is a trail bike a onroad offroad bike?
Right so next year i will be old enough to get a motor bike. My mom isnt allowing me to get a proper bike so i had the choice of a slower bike. So aint in hell am i gonna get one of those gay scooters so i just want to know if trail and enduro bikes are on road/off road becuase it will be pretty cool to have a bike that you can also ride through rougher terrain and on the road thanks!

To ride on the road it must be street legal – flashers, lights etc.

Dual Sport used to be called Trail is street legal with extended travel suspension, high exhaust, knobby tires.
Enduro I believe is designed for long distances – same thing, but larger capacity, bush bars, panniers, etc. e.g BMW. More expensive, heavier, more comfortable for long dirt roads but (I presume) tougher to climb over rocks with.

Off-road is fun, you can do crazy stuff and only risk your own neck. Or just get out in the middle of nowhere and enjoy the scenery without a lot of hikers getting in the way.
